NJF is a team of highly skilled, university qualified health professionals. The team includes:


Exercise Physiologists

  • Exercise Physiologists are university qualified allied health professionals who specialise in the delivery of exercise, lifestyle and behavioural modification programs. These programs are for the prevention and management of chronic diseases and injuries.
  • Services include the use of exercise prescription for the management of acute and chronic health conditions


  • Physiotherapists are experts in movement and function who work in partnership with their patients, assisting them to overcome movement disorders, which may have been present from birth, acquired through accident or injury, or are the result of ageing or life-changing events.
  • Services include massage – injury specific or relaxation, acupuncture (dry kneedling), manual therapy – joint mobilisation, stretching and soft tissue massage, manipulation and education

Occupational Therapist

  • Occupational Therapy is a client-centred health profession concerned with promoting health and well-being through occupation. The primary goal of occupational therapy is to enable people to participate in the activities of everyday life. Occupational Therapists achieve this outcome by working with people and communities to enhance their ability to engage in the occupations they want to, need to, or are expected to do, or by modifying the occupation or the environment to better support their occupational engagement
  • Services include assessing and modifying clients’ home to improve their safety and independence ie. outdoor security cameras, aids and no slip mats


  • Dietitians translate scientific nutritional information into practical advice, to help you make the right decision about what to eat. They are the experts on diet and nutrition.
  • Services include advice on what to eat in order to lead a healthy lifestyle or achieve a specific health-related goal.


  • Psychologists use scientific methods to study the way people think, feel and learn. Psychologists also use evidence-based strategies and interventions to help people to overcome challenges and improve their performance.
  • Services include evaluation, diagnoses, treats behavior and mental processes




  • Gold and white DVA/TPI card holders require a ‘D904 referral form’ to cover the service: Online Referral
  • Medicare patients with a chronic medical condition require a ‘CDM referral form’ to cover the service: Online Referral
  • Return to work patients require a ‘Workcovers’ Compensation Certificate’ to cover the service: Online Referral
  • NJF requires a ‘GP referral’ to provide treatment for private health cover services: Online Referral
