EXERCISE
PROGRAMS

Entitled DVA clients may be referred for safe and clinically effective Exercise Physiology treatment by their general practitioner on a valid D904 referral form.

Upon diagnosis and referral of a specific condition, DVA will pay for the clinically necessary treatments.

DVA entitlements include:

  • Gold card holders are entitled to clinically necessary treatment covered by DVA’s health care arrangements for all health conditions
  • White card holders are entitled to clinically necessary treatment for an accepted disability
  • DVA Health Cards (Gold and White) are accepted as payment upon a GP referral

PROGRAM

Our dietetic services are designed to provide you with the skills necessary to help you improve your physical and mental health, reduce the burden of any diseases you might face and to also assist you towards creating and achieving your goals. We provide realistic advice tailored to you to ensure that we are improving your overall health and wellbeing.

PHYSIOTHERAPY
PROGRAM

Our highly experienced Physiotherapists use the latest in hands on therapy and clinical exercise rehabilitation to help you move well, and pain free. We believe in a wholistic approach to health care and one on one personalised care in all our treatment sessions.

Assessment and diagnosis of Injury, pain and movement dysfunction

Hands on therapy:

  • Joint mobilisation and manipulation
  • Muscle energy
  • Stretching and myofacial release.

PSYCHOLOGY
PROGRAMS

Our new veterans social support groups are part of a mental health initiative for military veterans nationally providing group activities and Psychology services.

Note:These Psychology services are not to replace any current veteran therapies but simply to complement them for the best health outcomes possible.

Performed weekly the groups Psychologist has a degree of therapeutic intervention and then each group member would be followed up with a teleconference.

The services support veterans by delivering specialist high quality care with a focus on improving psychological wellbeing, increasing social networks and long- term recovery.
